Chuhai Zinc hull sacrificial anodes are typically provided in Hydrodynamic shapes in order to reduce water resistance and efficiently protect vessels such as Tankers, Bulk Containers, tugs, etc., that sail on worldwide routes. Anodes are available in a series of welded types with two or four metallic straps protruded from the end of each side, or as bolted types that need to be fixed on permanent studs on doubler plates and under absorption rubber pads.

Chuhai zinc anode can be used in environments with low resistance in water or saline mud, at restricted temperatures below 60^oC, and in highly alkaline environments (PH < 9.5).

The MIL-A-18001-K-MIL alloy is acknowledged as the most stable and/or suitable application for marine or brackish water.
